In early February, the Ministry of Culture announced a call for projected proposals aimed at third country nationals and their integration into Latvian society.

More specifically, the proposals are expected to focus on language acquisition, naturalization, civic activism and participation of the third country nationals, as well as activities providing general information on life in Latvia and creation of support mechanisms for unsupported third country nationals’ groups.

The call is aimed at state institutions, municipalities, NGOs, international organizations, universities and other stakeholders.

The project proposals are to be handed in to Ministry of Culture by 19th of March, 2014.
