The Mary Raftery Journalism Fund (MRJF), with the support of the Tony Ryan Trust, has launched the Refugee Crisis Media Fund. The fund is to provide support to journalists, media professionals and media organisations wanting to investigate the "refugee crisis" in Europe and refugee integration in Ireland. Print, broadcast and online projects are eligible.
Applications are to be submitted via email. Those from regions where refugees have migrated from are particularly welcome to apply for the up to €40,000 available budget. The deadline for applications is Wednesday 31 May 2017 and applicants will be notified of the decisions by Tuesday 4 July 2017.
