The Irish Human Rights and Equality Commission issued a call for proposals under the 2016 Grant Scheme on 1 June. With a total fund of €250,000, the scheme is open to a wide range of groups and organisations. The types of activities that are eligible for grant include:
- Research and educational activities;
- Education and training on human rights and equality issues;
- Programmes of activities and projects for the promotion of integration of migrants and other minorities, equality (including gender equality) and respect for diversity and cultural difference.
There are three strands to the scheme:
- Capacity Building (maximum €6,000)
- Project Implementation (maximum €20,000)
- Collaboration and Dissemination (maximum €4,000)
Application are to be submitted by 13 July 2016, before 17 pm.
