The Ireland Funds announce €1 million available for 2019 Grant Round

Title

The Ireland Funds has announced €1 million in available funding as part of its 2019 Grant Round, through two types of funding opportunities—the Flagship Awards and the Small Grants Round. Each type of funding will make available €500,000 in total. Both funding strands include ‘Supporting migrant rights, family reunification and community integration programmes’ as one of their key areas for support.

The Flagship Awards offer grants for core funding, capacity-building or programme costs for charitable organisations, for up to €100,000 in financial support over a two-year period. Applications for the Flagship Awards will be accepted until 14 August 2019.

The Small Grants Round offers awards between €2,500 and €10,000 for small community organisations or organisations not previously supported by The Ireland Funds. Applications for funding through the Small Grants Round will be accepted until 11 September 2019.

The Ireland Funds is a global philanthropic network that promotes and supports peace, culture, education and community development throughout the island of Ireland and Irish-related causes around the world.
