The Ministry of Regional Development is extending and expanding the "Ukraine - Expanding Public Accommodation" subsidy programme for the reconstruction of apartments for temporary protection holders.
The goal of the programme is to expand the emergency accommodation capacity for refugees from Ukraine as much as possible. After three years or after the end of the war, the apartments will be accessible as affordable housing to a wide range of Czech citizens.
The Ministry of Regional Development states that eligible applicants for subsidies now include non-governmental organisations. The subsidy per person also increased from CZK 120 000 to CZK 150 000.
Eligible applicants:
Municipalities and organisations established by them, regions and organisations established by them, the capital city of Prague, municipal districts of the capital city of Prague and organisations established by them, and NGOs, are all eligible.
The allocation for this call is CZK 900 000 000, with a minimum co-financing rate of 15 %. The deadline for receipt of applications is 31 August 2022.
