The Czech Ministry of Interior announced two calls for funding applications from projects supporting the integration of third-country nationals (TCNs).
1. The Integration of Foreigners 2023 call aims to support research institutions and civil society organisations promoting the integration of resident TCNs and Ukrainian temporary protection holders.
Eligible activities include:
- provision of direct assistance to foreigners at the Department of Asylum and Migration Policy offices
- street outreach work and education of street outreach workers
- training for public administration clerks
- integration initiatives by foreign nationals
- integration activities based on initiatives of foreigners
- research on the situation of migrant women and/or research on integration
- provision of information to the general public on the integration of foreigners

2. Under the Adaptation and Integration Courses 2023 call, the ministry is seeking actors to provide mandatory integration courses to TCNs in the following regions:
- Ústí nad Labem region (total allocation: CZK 2.6 million/EUR 107 000)
- South Moravian region (total allocation: CZK 3.5 million/EUR 144 000)
- Hradec Králové region (total allocation: CZK 2 million/EUR 82 000)
- Prague (total allocation: CZK 10 million/EUR 412 000)
Additionally, supported will be provided (to the amount of CZK 5 milion/EUR 206 000) for the development of course methodology, supervision and promotion.
