The European Social Fund (ESF) in the Czech Republic published a new call offering funding to promote the social inclusion of certain target groups. The aim of the call is to strengthen active inclusion and thus promote equal opportunities, non-discrimination, active participation, and improved employability, especially for disadvantaged groups (including migrants).
The total amount of funding allocated under the call is CZK 100 million (EUR 4.1 million), and the deadline for application is 8 March 2023.
Eligible activities include those seeking to improve the involvement of migrants and asylum seekers in the economic, social, labour and community life of society (e.g. outreach work; legal counselling - with the exception of counselling on residence permit issues -; Czech language training; community-level integration initiatives).
Eligible applicants are NGOs, municipalities, regions, municipal districts of the city of Prague and contributory organisations established by them, voluntary associations of municipalities, and social service providers.
The target groups identified for this call are migrants and asylum seekers, not including temporary protection holders from Ukraine.
