The Czech education ministry announces the call 'Adaptation groups for children of foreigners migrating from Ukraine September - December 2022' which is meant to support the adaptation of refugee children aged 3 to 18 years.
The purpose of the call is to support the implementation of leisure activities help adapt and socialise Ukrainian children, develop their language skills in Czech, and prepare them for entry into Czech schools.
Eligible applicants include:
- public universities
- legal entities carrying out the activities of a school or educational institution registered in the school register
- municipal authorities, municipal districts of the capital City of Prague, as well as voluntary associations of municipalities
- organisations established by municipalities, regions, the City of Prague, Prague's municipal districts or voluntary associations of municipalities
- non-governmental organisation.
The total available funds amount to 200 million CZK (€8 million).
The deadline for applications is 15 September 2022.
