The Czech Interior Ministry has announced the 29th open call for proposals within the framework of its National Programme of the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF). Qualified applicants include NGOs, public administration bodies, intergovernmental organisations, public universities, research organisations and local authorities.
The Ministry is accepting proposals within three specific measures:
Measure 1:
- Informing the general public on migration and the integration of third-country citizens (including international protection beneficiaries).
- Supported activities: production of audiovisual material, organisation of events for the general public, production of publications, organisation of educational programmes (especially with focus on pedagogues and children).
- The sum allocated for Measure 1: 10 000 000 CZK (ca 382 850 EUR).
- Minimum duration of the project: 1 year.
Measure 2:
- Provision of pro-bono legal counselling to third-country nationals who do not fulfill the conditions for entry and/or stay in the territory of the Czech Republic.
- Supported activities: provision of legal counselling, psychological support, communication with public authorities, language support, raising awareness on voluntary returns, production of information brochures.
- The sum allocated for Measure 2: 7 000 000 CZK (ca 268 000 EUR).
- Minimum duration of the project: 2 years.
Measure 3:
- Increasing intercultural competences of state administration employees and members of security forces.
- Supported activities: development of an education programme and related methodologies on intercultural competences, migration, development of communication skills, provision of the programme and its evaluation.
- The sum allocated for the Measure 3: 15 000 000 CZK (ca 574 270 EUR).
- Minimum duration of the project: 18 months.
