Cyprus-based research centre CARDET is in the process of collecting digital tools and online learning resources that migrants and refugees can take advantage of to promote their own empowerment, knowledge and skills. Resources and tools - identified or submitted by third parties - are uploaded to the MOOCS4Inclusion platform, an online archive of resources supporting and furthering the inclusion of migrants.
MOOCs4Inclusion is a study, commissioned by the European Commission, which aims to assess the adequacy (via mapping and analysis) of Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) and Free Digital Learning (FDL) for the inclusion of migrants and refugees.
The platform, commissioned by the EU Science Hub-Joint Research Centre (Seville), features dozens of resources that cover a wide array of themes ranging from language learning tools to material for improving employability. It also offers tools for increasing the capacity of educators, trainers and migration professionals to support migrants.
Organisations that have developed a tool eligible for the platform are invited to download and complete the submission template and send it to michaela.protopapa@cardet.org.
