The Bulgarian Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund 2021-2027 launched a procedure by which representatives of non-profit legal entities can join the programme's monitoring committee, and are calling for applications. The committee monitors the efficiency and quality of the programme’s implementation by:
- reviewing and approving the methodology and criteria for selecting financing operations;
- monitoring progress towards the achievement of the intermediate goals and the target values of the programme;
- reviewing and approving proposals for amendments to the programme and the final report on the quality of programme implementation.
Eligible non-profit entities are:
- organisations working in the field of fundamental rights protection, gender equality, anti-discrimination and equal opportunities;
- organisations working in the field of social inclusion and integration of marginalised groups;
- organisations working in the field of environmental protection;
- organisations working in the field of education, science and culture;
- organisations working in the field of strengthening and developing all aspects of the Common European Asylum System, including its external dimension;
- organisations working in the field of strengthening and developing legal migration to member states in accordance with their economic and social needs, and promoting and contributing to the effective integration and social inclusion of third-country nationals;
- organisations working in the field of combating illegal migration, strengthening effective, safe and dignified return and readmission and promoting and contributing to effective initial reintegration in third countries.
