'Burgenland sings' is the focus of the annual initiative of the Department of Culture of the province Burgenland. The project is dedicated to active singing and wants to connect popular culture and high culture, bringing symbiosis between the traditional with the modern. One initiative is called 'Limitless singing with asylum seekers'. Singing can build bridges of understanding, make an important contribution to integration, may be a means of expression for emotions and feelings - across all borders and languages.
