AMIF National Programme Romania: Open call on integration

Title

The Romanian General Inspectorate for Immigration (GII) has launched a call within the National Programme of the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund on four priority actions:

  • Social integration of beneficiaries of international protection (BIP) and of foreigners with legal stay in Romania;
  • Assistance and legal counselling for asylum seekers and beneficiaries of international protection;
  • Social assistance/in-kind support for asylum seekers;
  • Medical and psychological assistance for asylum seekers.

The funds allocated to Action 1 - social integration of beneficiaries of international protection and of foreigners with legal stay in Romania - will be granted for setting up and running Regional Integration Centres in four regions of Romania. Each region consists of several counties allocated to a GII reception center, namely Somcuta Mare (North – West), Timisoara (West), Radauti (North – East) and Galati (East). Activities that are eligible for funding may include the following: Romanian language courses, information, social counselling and cultural orientation, financial and in-kind support etc.

The type of activities to be funded under the other three actions are mentioned in the titles. 

The grant rate covers up to 98% of the total eligible costs of the project for an implementation period of maximum 29 months.

Only NGOs are eligible to apply under this call. The deadline for applications is 02.07.2020, 09.00 am (Romanian time).
