AMIF 2019 Funding Call – Social and economic integration of migrant women

Title

The European Commission is now accepting proposals for funding through the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund to support the social and economic integration of migrant women. This funding call will promote migrant women’s interaction, feeling at ease and participation in social and political life and/or support their sustainable labour market integration.

Proposed activities should be co-designed with migrant women. Types of actions to be funded include:

  • Practical trainings, workshops, mutual learning activities, mentoring schemes, peer group activities that improve the social and economic integration of migrant women and share knowledge on successful approaches
  • Outreach and empowerment of particularly vulnerable groups of migrant women with limited or no work experience and paying attention to how several forms of discrimination can reinforce each other and affect migrant women

Funded projects can be large or small, both in terms of budget and in number of partners. Projects that involve migrant organisations are especially welcome, as are partnerships that include organisations with little experience on integration so that they can benefit from the knowledge and practices developed by experienced organisations.

More information is available on the EU’s funding portal. The deadline to apply is 30 January 2020 at 17:00 Brussels time. Find out about other opportunities in this round of AMIF calls.
