Title

The report Situation of foreigners, migration and integration in the Czech Republic 2017 details the issue of migration and integration of foreigners in the Czech Republic from the perspective of the Interior Ministry. It compares migration and integration indicators in 2016 with those of previous years. It also provides an analysis of migration trends and policy measures. The report can be used as an initial basis for defining the needs of the Czech Republic in the field of migration, integration of foreigners and international protection.

The report examines a wide range of topics including: legislative framework, residence permits, employment and entrepreneurship, integration indicators, integration projects, school education, indicators related to asylum seekers, citizenship and international cooperation in migration.

The report is supplemented by an overview of integration projects implemented in 2017 and comprehensive statistical data. It is part of a series of annual reports published by the Interior Ministry since 2001.
