NIEM

The Institute of Public Affairs (IPA) and Migration Policy Group published an analysis which compares refugee integration figures in 14 EU Member States between 2017 and 2019. The report is part of “NIEM: National Integration Evaluation Mechanism” transnational project.

According to the report, France improved in ten out of the twelve figures proposed by the research indicators on refugee integration, followed by Lithuania and Latvia. In addition to those three, the report evaluated the progress of eleven other countries: Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Greece, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden.

The cross-country comparison covered 12 dimensions, ranging from general
