European Parliament study on female refugees and asylum seekers: the issue of integration

European Parliament

Upon request by the European Parliament's FEMM Committee, the study presents an overview of the most important issues faced by refugees and asylum seeking women in their host country regarding access to training and language courses, appropriate housing, including privacy in shelters and domestic violence, and labour issues.

A summary of international standards and of applicable European laws, as well as details on available funding from the European level are provided while international promising projects illustrate the way forward.
