This UNHCR handbook was created through collaboration with local authorities, service providers, civil society and refugee-led organisations across Europe. It forms part of a toolkit, previously highlighted on EWSI here, that also includes an interactive online version of the handbook, a scorecard, a flyer, an animated explainer video and a promotional video.

The handbook has six key focus areas and shares practical checklists, examples of good practices and guiding questions for stakeholders and decision makers in refugee integration. Its production involved field testing and input from actors in seven EU countries.
