Key innovative features of the Information System ESTIA are the system of "sending referrals/recording requests", the system "electronic coupling (matching) of supply and demand for labor", the generation of dynamic statistics and the development of an assessment system for the needs of the target group and for the providers of the services. The Innovative element of the tool ESTIA is the connection until now of 90% of NGOs that provide services to asylum seekers and refugees and reception centers for asylum seekers. Also, in the system are connected with selective accessibility the Ministry of Health and Welfare, the Directorate of Social Perception and the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (Greece).
