Funds for migrant integration in Austria

The funds listed below are available to migrant integration initiatives in Austria. Non-profit organisations and local authorities can apply for financing through several EU funds. In addition, national and private funds are available for service providers and other stakeholders to carry out projects aiming for a better integration of the migrant population. The Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF) in Austria

The European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) in Austria

  • Details: In the 2021-2027 funding period, Austria will receive around 409 million euros from the ESF Plus. See the priorities of the ESF+ programme in Austria
  • National managing authority: ESF+ is implemented in Austria via 2 national programmes: the Employment Programme which includes funding from the Just Transition Fund (JTF), and the national ESF+ programme for fighting material deprivation. The managing authority for the European Social Fund (ESF) in Austria is the Federal Ministry of Labour and Economic Affairs.
