Slovakia: New campaign promotes social inclusion of those displaced from Ukraine

Flag of Slovakia

In Slovakia, the Ministry of the Interior is collaborating with Constantine The Philosopher University (UKF) on a communications campaign that aims to increase awareness of the social and economic contributions of those displaced from Ukraine to Slovak society, and the other positive effects of their inclusion.

The campaign is a reaction to increasingly negative public attitudes towards those from Ukraine granted temporary protection in Slovakia. The campaign is being run across the social networks of the Ministry of Interior in January and February 2023.

The media outputs of the campaign were designed by master's degree students at the university's department of mass media communication and advertising, and will include short videos, podcasts, and infographics.
