The General Inspectorate for Immigration (GII), the grant authority for AMIF in Romania, has launched a new call for proposals on integration. The deadline for applications is 1 October 2020.
It targets two strands of action which complement the governmental integration programme, consisting of:
- counselling, Romanian language courses, cultural orientation, socialisation and access to health services for people with international protection (BIP), as well as third country nationals (TCN) with temporary residence in the regions of Bucharest and Giurgiu, and their neighboring counties;
- support for access to housing (including rent subsidies) for the BIP enrolled in the integration programme.
Applications must come from non-profit organisations legally registered in Romania, and any partner organisations must be the same. AMIF wil fund a minimum of 2% of the total eligible costs.
All proposals should be submitted by post, courier or personal delivery to the GII head office in Bucharest.
