In 2022 the Slavic Language and Cultures Centre of the Faculty of Letters (University of Lisbon), with the support of the Institute of Portuguese Language and Culture (ICLP), enabled students in a situation of humanitarian emergency to access its Portuguese Language Initiation course for free.
The course is taught by teachers at the Faculty of Letters (University of Lisbon) on a voluntary basis, and requires registration.
Upon signing up, students are placed on a waiting list to be contacted with further information on dates, schedules and teaching rooms.
Further information can be found on the ICLP website, or by contacting the centre via studieseslavos@letras.ulisboa.pt.
