The 'Civil Society for social inclusion of unaccompanied minors in transition to adulthood – learning communities for shaping transition interfaces' project (or, 'CiSoTRA'), which was operational in Slovenia, Germany, Greece, Italy and Turkey, ended after three years on 31 March 2021. Many tools were produced over the course of the project, and these and its published results are now available on the project website for use by practitioners and other relevant stakeholders.
CiSoTRA worked to develop and implement an innovative methodology to foster the social inclusion (including inclusion through education) of unaccompanied minor migrants during their transition to early adulthood. It focused specifically on the development of holistic support networks, which facilitated the transition from the youth support and education system into the adult education and employment system.
- a model for the coordination of actors to promote better social inclusion of migrants in their transition to adulthood;
- an e-platform offering 16 short trainings and 4 ECTS master courses (for professionals working with young migrants);
- policy recommendations at local, national, and European / international level, in the CiSoTRA declaration.
A video presenting the project, its results and knowledge gained through its implementation can be viewed here.
