Greece: A guide to talking about gender-based violence

Talking about GBV_GFM

The Greek Forum of Migrants (GFM), with the support of the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation (Greece), published a new guide on gender-based violence (GBV). The guide was developed following meetings throughout the year with the women’s group of GFR and various state and civil society organisations, which highlighted the need for updated and comprehensive information on GBV.

The guide, entitled "Talking about gender-based violence," provides concise and essential information about GBV, including definitions of relevant terms and explanations of actions that can be taken by both victims and witnesses. It also presents details of available governmental and non-governmental support services.

The guide is accessible in 10 languages: Greek, English, French, Arabic, Farsi, Albanian, Amharic, Georgian, Ukrainian, and Turkish.

Those in need of further support or information can also download the GBV Pocket Guide App from Google Play or the Apple App Store (available in 13 languages).
