In July and August 2022, the Neodvisni sindikat delavcev Slovenije (NSDS), or the Independent Workers' Union of Slovenia, member of European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC), held a series of workshops for people displaced from Ukraine.
The participants were newly arrived beneficiaries of temporary protection (BTPs) who had already or were about to enter the labour market. The workshops involved over 60 beneficiaries and were dedicated to providing information about labour rights, as well as to discussing problems of labour market in Slovenia and the EU.
