The City for Everybody - Building Responsible Action for Inclusive Local Communities (CIFER) project is organising a workshop is to develop an anti-racism action plan for Budapest, involving local stakeholders and actively relying on their expertise.
The plan produced will be shared with the Metropolitan Municipality of Budapest and several districts in 2025, in the hope that municipalities will make good use of it and promote its implementation.
The target group for the workshop is local municipalities, migrant-led and other civil society organisations, and professionals from the education and social sectors.
The workshop will be held in person on 17 October (14:30-16:00) and 21 October (15:00-18:00) 2024 in Budapest, and will be delivered in Hungarian (English interpretation will be available).
The CIFER project promotes action against discrimination and racism, with particular focus on the integration of immigrants and refugees in large cities. It aims to better understand and address racism, xenophobia, and discrimination against people with a migrant background.
