This conference will conduct in-depth exploration of integration-themed topics, providing a platform for discussion and best practice exchange and drawing from narratives both within and outside Europe.
The event will be held on 16 - 17 November, in Tallinn, and will also be accessible via live web broadcast. It is being organised by the Integration Foundation in Estonnia in partnership with the country's Ministry of Culture.
Conference speakers will discuss:
- possible solutions to integration issues and interpretations of past lessons;
- trauma caused by the war in Ukraine and other challenges faced by displaced persons;
- security issues related to war refugees and asylum seekers and strengthening the foundations for peaceful coexistence;
- long-term consequences of forced migration.
The conference is designed for experts in the field of integration, policymakers, and scholars, as well as enthusiasts, practitioners, representatives from the third sector, and the general public in Estonia and abroad.
