Czech Republic: RefuFest

Flag Czech Republic EWSI

Annual festival RefuFest, organised by NGO InBáze, celebrates music, theatre, dance and other cultural activities from all over the world. It offers participants the opportunity to get to know foreign cultures better, presenting Prague as a city where people of different cultures and religions can live together. The aim of the festival is to promote diversity and solidarity with immigrants and refugees.

The festival is built on the engagement of volunteers, the vast majority of whom are migrants and refugees residing in Prague, and various actors in the migrant integration field (such as other NGOs, universities, schools, media outlets, and local businesses).

The festival will take place on 6 - 7 September with the following overall schedule:

  • 6 September, 2pm - 8pm: Presentations by non-profit organisations working with migrants.
Venue: Community Center L10, Letohradská 10, Prague 7.
  • September 7, 12noon - 10pm: Main festival event.
Venue: Kampus Hybernská, Hybernská 4, Praha 1.
