Conference for the protection of unaccompanied children in precarious living conditions: from needs assessment to response

Flag of Greece

This conference - organised by the Special Secretariat for the Protection of Unaccompanied Minors in Greece (SSPUAM), the UNHCR Representation in Greece, and Panteion University of Social & Political Sciences - will build on the successes, challenges and key findings of the National Emergency Response Mechanism for the protection of unaccompanied children in precarious living conditions (NERM), with focus on the future of the mechanism and the protection of unaccompanied minors in Greece.

Panteion University will present its study on homeless unaccompanied children in Greece, which led to the initial development of the NERM (now in its second year of implementation by SSPUAM, with the support of UNHCR).

Participants will be able to follow the online event in both Greek and English.
