Poland: Refugees from Ukraine on the Polish labour market - opportunities and obstacles

The aim of the event is to present and discuss the latest report by the Polish Economic Institute entitled Refugees from Ukraine on the Polish labour market - opportunities and obstacles. The report includes the results of an experimental study showing potential discrimination against Ukrainian beneficiaries of temporary protection during job recruitment, as well as the findings of a qualitative study on the labour market challenges they face.

The expert debate will be attended by Agnieszka Kulesa, vice president of the Center for Social and Economic Research (CASE), Professor Paweł Kaczmaczyk, director of the Centre of Migration Research at the University of Warsaw, and Kamil Sobolewski, chief economist of the Employers of Poland, the oldest and largest employers' organisation in Poland.
