The programme challenges preconceived notions based on gender, age, religion, sexual orientation, race and a myriad of other characteristics which often stops us from truly seeing the person in front of us. As Ireland has changed dramatically in the last decade so has the profile of the clients which seek mental health support. Therapists must be equipped with the necessary awareness and intercultural skills to make their services both accessible and inclusive.
