Menedék, the Hungarian Association for Migrants, is organising a webinar about the new immigration law that entered into force in Hungary on 1 January 2024.
The new law fundamentally changed the way third-country nationals (TCNs) can work in Hungary. Certain residence permits have been abolished and replaced by new ones, and related conditions and rules have also changed radically.
The webinar will present important information about the different residence permits, and there will also be a Q&A session on labour market integration with Menedék Association's legal advisor and social workers.
The webinar is aimed at employers of expatriates, staff of temporary employment agencies, and staff of civil society organisations working with foreigners.
The webinar is free of charge, but registration is required.
The event is delivered as part of the IOM-supported 'Supplementary employment-related assistance and integration service provision to displaced persons from Ukraine' project.
