The French Institute in Athens organises a discussion evening on 26 May 2017. The event will start with the projection of french documentary movie La Cour de Babel which tells the story of newcomer children's learning journey. The projection will be followed by a debate on the integration of refugee children in the Greek education system, including the available resources, the educational programme, challenges, etc.

Participants will present their evaluation of the school year ending shortly after the event and their assessment of the prospects for the next year. Participants include representatives of the Greek Ministry of education, a reception centre, UNICEF and the Greek Ombudsman for Children.

This is a free entrance event with simultaneous translation and Greek subtitles to the movie.
