The Jesuit Refugee Service is hosting a “fish bowl” event to commemorate 20 years since the first important disembarkation of migrants in Malta.
Over the past two decades many people have shared the migrant journey in Malta, either as asylum seekers and refugees themselves or as members of host communities. This event will provide a platform for such people to share their stories, as speakers and as audience members. It will be an intimate space dedicated to understanding and sharing different perspectives and insights into the refugee situation in Malta.
The event is open to:
- those with an interest in the refugee situation in Malta;
- asylum-seekers;
- refugees;
- those who have hosted or are hosting asylum-seekers or refugees.
